I know I'm a bit of a Fortin fanboy but I like what I see from him so far. His speed enables him to get in on plays all over the ice. It was his check along the wall that allowed Kahun to get the puck and make a nice dish to Beaudin for the goal.

I know I'm a bit of a Fortin fanboy but I like what I see from him so far. His speed enables him to get in on plays all over the ice. It was his check along the wall that allowed Kahun to get the puck and make a nice dish to Beaudin for the goal.

Beaudin and Boqvist have been good too. Smart and effective puck management, seem to be good with reads the other way. Beaudin with a goal and then a beauty assist to Sikura at the end there. Hillman-Jokijarju seem to be playing in more defensive situations.

Looks like the roster Powers posted a week ago have some of the numbers wrong. Kahun is #24 - not #25 and Maksimovich is #25 - not #24. There is a #85 skating for the Hawks but the roster I have doesn't have a #85. |
