There was no real leadership with only a couple players stepping up to make an impact like Brooks, Bitten, Evans and Hillis. Not much to really read into here, it’s just unfortunate that after being dominated after the 1st period and Evans injury nobody showed any fire. I kind of expected players to get a bit more jump when you’re fighting to make an impression and one of your top players gets KO’d, but it’s also hard to play hockey when the back end can’t really move the puck up.

Sounds like the prospects are right on track with the big club. Totally aligned at being gutless pussies with hardly any talent.

Bergies eye for character and attitude is astoundingly dyslexic!! And he's Ray (frank)ing Charles when it comes to assessing talent and building a team!

This is going to be hilarious to watch this year!

Very true......caught on a technicality.

My apologies to Ray Charles.

Also, he would likely be a top 6 D on the Habs this year, if still alive.

He'd have a decent shot at cracking the roster as a corpse

#84 Cole Fonstad will be a top6 fw, probably a winger. He's got more hockey smarts and skills than Kotkaniemi who unfortunately indeed will turn out to be a bust..

It would be fun to see Kotkaniemi with better wingers...nothing personal against Teasdale and Katerinakis, but you know...

Yeah, it will be his twin brothers' senior year and he feels they have what it takes to win the Frozen Four. He'll probably be at camp in 2019

yep, so before him and kotkaniemi become decent effective top 6 c... it will take minimum 3 years. and that is IF they make it.
pure joy. what a plan!

Dirty scumbag hit. That's the problem with these tournaments, they don't count, so no consequences. You always have the occasional dimwit that tries to make himself visible but uses the wrong way to do it.

Yeah for sure, well said. It looked like Tszyka got a little low and was hit heavily from behind. Looked dangerous and awkward.

Jonathan Bernier @JBernierJDM

That should fire Bouchard up now! He's kind of a hot head so maybe he'll use this to fire up the guys to play a little harder. Can't change the unfortunate outcome, but could possibly turn a negative into a positive?

Yeah, don't remember hearing this kind of discourse from Lefebvre, kind of refreshing. And it's good that he's not waiting a few games to try and implement that mentality, right now's the time to do it (although with 2 guys leaving on a stretcher in 2 nights, he kinda had to say something)

For sure! The sooner the better. Nice to see somebody actually walked the walk after all of that BS about changing the culture, being more transparent blah blah blah......

And Lefebvre was a wussy!
