Pass rusher is the 2nd most important position in then league behind QB imo. You need a star QB and a star rusher to affect the other teams QB.

Decent OL can be signed UFA at reasonable costs

And don’t say we NEED to play him
Cleveland isn’t playing Mayfield
Arizona isn’t playing Rosen
And we KNEW that when Allen was drafted he was the LEAST ready of the group
Those guys are more polished,
and even they are sitting

And it’s not bc they’ve got Favre in front of them
Tyrod AGAIN threw for under 200yds
Bradford was awful

The Rams didn’t start Goff till week 9,
(i believe) in his rookie year

Just bc you are a highly picked QB,

After the preseason I said that if the line was going to be that bad that they'd be lucky to get to 2-14 or maybe I transposed them for 4-12, either way, not a great year.

It's all on the O-line. They need to be better, make a trade FFS, give up some of that stockpile of Magic Beanes see what I did there? (I'm incredibly high right now, Ambien kicking in, going to bed in 5 mintues.) So if that's awful, I understand. They need to make a move up front, now. If they can get 2 solid guys up front then I think they can get to 6-10 while Allen learns on the job. The problem is there aren't a lot of spare OL hanging around not already playing.

They damn well better use bootlegs and short drops to give whomever a chance to throw.

I've just about had it with Benjamin, it wasn't an easy catch to make in the endzone on a pass from Allen, but good receivers make those catches. When you let the ball get that close to your body it makes it that much harder to catch, especially a dart like that throw was.

I just think Allen, with his poise is the way forward. Peterman gives you absolutely no chance to win.

This rule should apply to everyone but WRs and especially QBs. QBs are picked on their potential ceilings, and may (god forbid) need time to develop to get to that point. WRs, especially ones that are pure ability and lack the knowledge of pro style offenses may also need a year or two to develop into a guy worthy of a top 10 pick. Stop Gerbeing and relax.
