I'll need some time to really dig into this proposition. I'm not saying no, but I'm not saying yes yet. |

Allen can both bet “better than Peterman”
AND
“Not be ready”
And don’t say we NEED to play him
Cleveland isn’t playing Mayfield
Arizona isn’t playing Rosen
And we KNEW that when Allen was drafted he was the LEAST ready of the group
Those guys are more polished,
and even they are sitting
And it’s not bc they’ve got Favre in front of them
Tyrod AGAIN threw for under 200yds
Bradford was awful
The Rams didn’t start Goff till week 9,
(i believe) in his rookie year
Just bc you are a highly picked QB,
doesn’t mean you’re Andrew Luck right away
Have a little patience man
I know that sucks...
but unfortunately, it’s most likely what’s best - jdfitz77
Be this as it may, he is most likely the best QB on this roster. It may not be by too much, but he is. He's not learning from a veteran. He has to play.

Losing Nelson creates a ripple effect throughout the organization. This organization was in a tailspin once GMTM just gave away the backbone, and did not recover until 8 became a steady regular.
This trade brings back Pysyk, awesome,
Ekblad is better than all of our defense some combined
Barkov puts Mittsnasty on the wing
Skinner Eichel Skunk
Mitts Barkov Thompson
Sheary Berglund Baptiste
Pommer Dirty pod-racer Okposo
Risto - Ekblad
Pysyk - Dahlin
Scandella - McCabe

I feel like the disrespect shown to Pysyk being put on the 2nd line may haunt you sooner rather than later. |

He's showing the choooooooosen one how to develop the right way, honestly...we all know Dahlin can only be Dahlin with the support of THE Pysyk. They will be PP1, SH1, and first pairing oot there by Halloween, im not worried about it. |

You would've pulled the trigger on that Nelson trade leaving Pysyk out. If the Sabres looooose Nelson and dont have Pysyk their to fill in, Buffalo will have the two worst teams in the top 4 sports in the country, NBD |

Patriots signed Corey Coleman.
The 15th overall pick in 2016, Coleman was unceremoniously traded by the Browns for a seventh-round pick before being unceremoniously waived by the Bills at final cuts. He always had the talent to get another shot, however, and the Patriots are a great place for him to attempt a reclamation -- 2015 first-rounder Phillip Dorsett has turned his career around in New England. It is unlikely he returns any redraft value this season even with the Patriots thin at receiver, but this move is a bump to Coleman's shaky Dynasty value. |

Corey Pronman's "Standouts From Every Rookie Camp" article on the Athletic
BUFFALO
Rasmus Asplund, C
Asplund has a very good game. He showed his standard high-end hockey sense in how he can see the ice, slow the game down and make plays. He also showed very good hands evading checks and making plays in small spaces. He scored a beauty goal, showing pro speed coming through the zone.
Casey Mittelstadt, C
The scouts at the tournament told me Mittelstadt was mediocre in his first two games, but in the one I saw, his third, I thought he was excellent. His skill and offensive imagination are elite and he makes some unique plays seem routine. He also showed good speed. I expect him to contribute to Buffalo right away.
Alexander Nylander, LW
Nylander’s last game was the best I’ve seen from him in quite some time, and the scouts who saw his other games also said he looked good there. He was nursing injuries last season but apparently is 100 percent and hoping to bounce back from a season where he didn’t look good. Nylander didn’t play fast, and it’s my main concern with him, but he showed big-time skill and vision, making some fantastic passes and scoring, too.
Lawrence Pilut, D
I was very impressed by Pilut, who while it was to be expected he’d play well given his age and talent, played as well as I’ve ever seen from him. He showed high-end hockey sense moving the puck, very good hands in tight areas to keep possession and was a positive force for his team at both ends. He may need to start the year in the AHL, but from talking to scouts who know him well, they feel he’s close. |

Two other players that Pronman didn't have a chance to personally view, from other scouts:
Rasmus Dahlin, D, Buffalo: Dahlin was as advertised. Skill, speed, sense were all at a level well above the competition here. You saw how competitive a player he is in battles and in front of the net. He’s NHL ready.
Tage Thompson, RW, Buffalo: Thompson showed the ability to make plays and, for a 6-foot-6 player, that has to get Buffalo excited. His hands and shot are very, very good. |

Asplund, Thompson, Borgen were the players i noticed most friday and saturday at the Prospect Challenge. Borgen stood out more being Dahlins D partner, but that combo was awesome to watch. i forgot what good defense is for Buffalo. Yes, i know it wasnt NHL caliber action, but they looked dominate together. it was nice to see |

Borgen is my dark horse. He reminds me of Jay McKee somehow. Not sure exactly what it is other than the physical play. But he's got better hands and skating than I thought. Could be a solid shutdown guy on a lower pairing one day. |

The defense was solid all 3 games. The fact NJ scored 4 goals was primarily on JJ. At the very least, 2 of those were Mr. Softee material. |
