yeah the guy drafted 35th overall this year is ahead of most 2016-2017-2018 first round picks whitout playing a single game in between.

The league he played in is rather weak, I think someone said it's never even produced an NHL player, makes it difficult to judge since his competition wasn't exactly on par with other top end prospects

Kopitar played in very weak leagues growing up, I don't think that's a real issue if he has the skill.

I just think it's funny that this guy thinks 30 gm and scouts did a mistake missing him in the draft when he hasn't played a game since to warrant that.

Very true regarding Kopitar and although I don't think anyone expects him to have that kind of impact, I've read scouts comparing him to Bondra and Palffy

World Juniors should be interesting this year with Habs prospects being part of it

Canada: Suzuki, Brook (maybe)
Sweden: Olofsson
Finland: Kotkaniemi, Ylonen, Ikonen (maybe, if he's ready on time)
