A lot of people had higher expectations for Eller, which I guess could partly explain the frustration towards him

People had the same issues with Andrei Kostitsyn.
They thought he could be so much more so they didn't enjoy the big 25 goals 50 points guy they had. |

They thought he could be so much more so they didn't enjoy the big 25 goals 50 points guy they had.

In Kostistyn's case it's frustrating because you know he could have given you more but work ethics and off-ice distractions kept him from it. |

There's one thing that may make Weber more appealing for trades. His contract was front loaded money-wise. He's made most of the money on it.
So a team like Phoenix or Ottawa could him for a cap-hit of 7.8M while only paying him 1-2 millions and he'll still be alot better than a 1-2M D. |
