"Odds on favorite" is inaccurate. Vegas just moved the line because a lot of action is coming from Toronto.

How many "Vegas favorites" in September have actually won the Cup though? Just curious.

- Unholy_Goalie

Pretty much. Vegas does it all the time.
Their odds really dont mean much

I just wanna know if the Vegas odds on favorite in September has ever won the Cup.

I mean, I can understand if they were the 1st overall team and after the season they had those odds, but in (frank)ing September?

I'll probably nab a seat for Leafs/Flames this year in CGY...

I don't think it'll be that expensive.

Yes, the odds are based partially off of betting, rather than just the possibility. Honestly, man, what motivates you to take every possible chance you can find to poop on the Leafs? Like, why was this post necessary in your mind?

Are you just that depressed, you feel a need to bring everyone else on this thread down to your own level of negativity? It's summer. Be happy!

Time to rape a bottom-feeder for defensive help. Time to try and grab a player like Cody Ceci or Shea Weber from the Sens or Habs, while they race for the first overall draft pick, in 2019. Maybe approach Chicago and see if they'd be interested in a salary dump for Brent Seabrook. Have them pay half of his salary and we'll give them a middling draft pick or "B" prospect. Chicago is in cap hell.

Come on Mike. Leafs favourites in Vegas? You do know favourites just mean they have the most money on them because of their crazy, pumped up fan base

Not to mention he already made a blog about this week's ago when odds were last brought up. Easy $100 in his pocket.

All he does is recycle other interviews from other media outlets and makes money off it. Must be nice!

He can but he wouldn’t have insurance if he were to get hurt is my understanding.

This is actually spot on, though. The odds makers know they can cash in on some early excitement in Toronto.

I don't think you'll find an intelligent Leaf fan who has called Toronto a cup contender for a very long time. They're pretty close to it now. I wouldn't say favourites, but good enough to make some noise and piss off every hockey fan won doesn't cheer for them.

- BetterCallSaul

This. As much as I hate the Leafs, the Leaf fans should be embracing the excitement. They have had plenty of lean years, now things have changed. Have fun with it guys.

Flyers fan here.

What is the holdup with the Nylander signing? Is it term, money, or both?

Is the pending Marner and Matthews deals factoring in?

I see the Leafs are going to be shelling out some BIG deals next offseason giving them a pretty top heavy salary structure.

Do you see them trying to move Marleau and Horton or buying them out to clear some space next year?

What kind of trade deal do you think the Leafs would do for Nylander?

Would they do Sanheim, Rubstov and a 2nd?

Im just spitballing to see where Leafs fans are in terms of what they would consider a reasonable deal.

Thanks.
