Okposo and Lehner: both were ill last year, yet both sucked and dragged the team farther down than it should have been. Maybe a better thing would be go to management BEFORE last season and say, "I am a shell of the player you pay me to be and really need help....please can I take a mulligan on the year to get healthy, and in the meantime fans can watch a capable, healthy player take my spot rather than scratch their heads all year wondering if the team is wasting millions of dollars on me to suck."
Also management can try, for once, actually waiting for injured players to be (like, for real) healthy 100% before letting them back in the lineup. A 100% Baptiste would have been better than a 50% Okposo.
Truly I wish Lehner the best and really hope we can take KOs word that he is ready to go this year. But the team basically wasted 8 mil and 2 roster spots last year. |

I haven't been around at all. Didn't know KO wasn't healthy last year. Do you have a link I can head to to catch up on that? I won't make you repeat it all. |

Okposo was healthy last season, but lack of off season training really set him back |

I would not say that he wasn't healthy, however coming back from the health issues at the end of the previous season and early summer took a toll on his ability to prepare for the season. Once he was able to get back up to speed he was fine. They probably could have put him on IR (not positive they could), but that would not have helped him get back into game shape. I don't think even a rehab stint in the Ahl would have been an option. |

So we should expect healthy, rational, reasoning and action out of unhealthy, irrational people?
It’s over, Lehners gone, I hope he does well. Mental health is more important than stopping a puck.
Okposo is my new Pouliot, let’s see what happens

Pretty much. Whatever he contributes is nothing more than a bonus at this point. |

I think he's gonna be a pleasant surprise. Good depth. I'm hoping for around 13-15 goals.
Looking at his stats, it looks like he and Sobotka both play some PK, which is good because ROR and Pouliot were both heavy PK guys, and Kane was there too. Larsson has typically played a lot of PK, but who knows if he's on the team. Looks like Sheary has increased his role on the PK in the past year.
So Wilson, Sobotka, Berglund, Eichel and Sheary for the PK? Eichel isn't a full-timer there, but he does it. It would be nice if Okposo or Pominville were really PK guys |

He could be playing with Thomas or Taresenko instead of Wilson and Okposo. Idk about that one
I could see it being closer for P/60 ev, but not overall points |

Just listened to the player interviews.
Jack sounds like he is ready to be the leader, he also sounds very relaxed and refreshed.
Carter Hutton is going to do more for this locker room in training camp than ROR did his entire time here.
Skinner is ready to go.
I AM EXCITED
I think we are going to be good |

I am always watching these hurricanes, waiting for the train wrecks
but it's hard to take the weather channel seriously as they were busted down here
they were video taping a street sign, showing it move like crazy due to wind
problem is they got caught by the locals here, having a person down low at the base of the sign moving it back and forth

So, the Pegula's are buying Rochester's lacrosse team. How can they own them and the Bandits? |
