Prospects and rookies are somewhat of the only thing that generally drives ticket sales during a rebuild. Vancouver being a pretty decent hockey market will not sell out this season, but i dont think they will have major issues like some other franchises for ticket sales.

Having said that, elite talent, despite losing/winning percentage can bring fans in as well. Boeser brings in fans regardless.

Most 20 year olds shouldn't be out duelling the older players in physical testing. Some players are just better physically then others. I doubt Beagle is going to out bench Gunnarsson or beat Virtanen in a foot race.

My thoughts aren't really about this year, they are from when he signed him and called him a "foundational player", I don't want to beat a dead horse but I've disliked him and Benning from that moment on.

Sutter was never a foundational player and he paid him too much back when he signed that contract. Water under the bridge, his time in Vancouver is coming to an end.

There's a lot of good stories to talk about, like Dahlen making the team, so I'd rather talk about the positives we can see!!
