Guys at his level, at his age don't hit free agency at QB. That's why he got paid what he did.
He might not be worth the money but it's still a good signing. - golfingsince
yeah, he's overpaid for sure but i can understand why they made the move
that call on Clay Matthews was horrible though |

The NFL is far from a garbage league or a pool of garbage talent, it's the best North American football athletes but they happen to play four downs, big deal. It's by far the best product.
Whether you're Canadian or American or when the league started is really of no relevance when you talk product, the NFL is better on a whole.
That doesn't mean, to ME, there aren't entertaining CFL games, there are, just not as many. - LeftCoaster
World Champions of American football they claim as the Super Bowl. Think on that😂😂
Now the World cups in any other sport are the world. |

Archie isn't getting any love for a spot this year either. Deserved one last camp and didn't get it. Played well in meaningless games at the end of the season. |

I like him but he’s on the outside looking in but it is nice to have him as a call up when injuries hit. Role players have it tough. |

He and Motte are warrior types, won't take a shift or game off. |

Problem with these games is, Van isn't the strongest team and so players like Archie and Motte look better in these single game scenario's.
Guys like Goldy, Granlund, Gagner, Gaunce, Archie, Motte, Virtanen all need to play a few pre season games in a row and show their worth daily. |

This team isn't gonna light you up with an amazing powerplay or highlight reel goals. Green should form a lunch pail type of roster, that sets the precedent for the youth too. Either bring your hard hat and have a backbone or your gone. |

Not sure how that's ridiculous anyway, Arizona wouldn't make that trade. |

I think you have the most talented regulars plus lunch pails for the rest of them. |

Maybe he was saying Jim would have to throw in a 2nd round pick as well as Virtanen? |

Ex-games more hitting & fierce competition.
Don’t want to see training camp injuries. |

No that would be you vinty. What a pointless scenario to bring up. We should have traded Hodgson for Shea Weber. |

Gagner and Eriksson stick out as not good enough for consistent offense and definitely not lunch pail types.

No shifts off or someone else gets in. Scoring or not the best & hardest workers should play like it means nobody takes their job. |

That's the only way that would remotely make any sense. Straight up trade and everyone in the league is laughing at the Yotes. |

I'm not sure how those two things are comparable. Phoenix traded Domi, I think Virtanen and Domi are comparable players. Minivan asked how Sutter could be a bottom 6 C instead of a top 6 C, I think that this was a reasonable, level headed, realistic response. |

I’ve had a lot of patience with LE during these meaningless rebuild seasons when the PO’s were unrealistic. This year its poop or get off the pot time. I will pick on him til the cows come home if there is no rebound. |
