I’m thinking we’d need just about everything to go right though

I don’t have a very high opinion on Berglund & Sobatka,
but i also haven’t seen them much last year
They might be decent players still
But they also don’t seem to fit into the team speed that Botts wants

Seems to me like we are still in a transition year, if that makes sense

I do like the direction we are headed though
Dahlin was huge for us
He really makes the defense look like it’s got potential to be great in a couple years

So many of the decent players we have seem to not really fit the overall team speed concept

If RORs lack of speed was a reason to move him...
then a lot of these other guys who aren’t as good as him need to go too

Over 30, 2 concussions in 12 months, one of which was serious. Declining speed, making $6m per. We only have 1 fast top-6 winger in Skinner. Okposo would be fine as a 3RW making $3.75, unfortunately that isn't the situation we're in.

I personally doubt he has a 60p season left in him. He's only scored 60p twice, and it was when he was closer to 25. If he does have another in him, I think it will be his last.

I think he brings some veteran leadership.

Hes a good guy, tough and strong.

If he plays with eichel, 60 is achievable.

Sure he's slow, has concussion issues and makes too much

-same basic team missed the playoffs bc their goaltending was poor
