I haven't been around in a while and couldn't help but notice Gerbe doesn't seem to be posting anymore. What happened? - 100goalseason
Not sure, but I seem to remember there were quite a few taking shots at him constantly around that time, again if my memory is correct.
Not proud of it, but I'm sure I was among them.
I am now trying a different approach for my own self on this board.

That sounds about right. I tend to be more of a lurker who tunes out for a while when the conversations sour, which is more frequent when the team is so bad. Hopefully the team turns a corner this year (I think they will) and this place becomes a lot more enjoyable.
Nothing could be better for this team than for him to be a contributor.
I am pulling hard for him...maybe last year he "got it". We shall see. - IonSabres
I agree. Would be great to see him put it all together and realize his potential. The Sabres would obviously be a much stronger team going forward with Nylander producing like a first or second line winger.

Team first, they want to build a team around speed, skill and transition game...well 29 is 3-5 years too late for that. Be bold and be the first organization to roster a practice squad, make him captain of that team.
