DD, me and Homie been telling ya'all for years about Berglund. If he stays healthy he should slot in the top 6 till Mitts is ready and will be a valuable guy in the room. He could get 20 goals for us, would not surprise me. Exciting..

I’m back on the Nylander train

When Nylander pans out...

Dahlin

Eichel

Mittelstadt

Ristolainen

Skinner*

Reinhart

Nylander

++

23-18 minus Skinner (26)

Would be hard pressed to find a better top 7 when in their primes. Probably wouldn't need all the fingers on one hand to count how many teams could potentially match our top 2/3.

Looking to have exceptional depth in the near future as well between the rest of the players already in the system and those three 1st round picks we should have this year. If I were Botts I'd use our 1st and/or 2nd round pick in the 2020 draft in conjunction with the capital in play for this draft to make a splash; By then the 23-18 will be 25-20 and I'd wanna go the Pens route milking the Dahlin/Eichel era.

Im not going full Buffalo just yet,

Skinner, Mitts, Dahlin, and Nylander are all ifs.

Risk is still high and I don't think Housley is confident or experienced enough to carry this youth when they hit a rut. As exciting as this roster looks on paper, my guess is they're still too much unknown on the team. I want to be completely wrong though.

You should be. He looks good, should make the team. Asplund and Olofsson will push hard as well, one of those two could make it. Exciting..

I think starting off the season with an injury last year just set him up for a miserable season. Didn't even make it into camp healthy, and that can't set you up for success.

This year seems to be going better thus far. Made it through the prospect tournament healthy and got to play in a preseason game.

As long as expectations are tempered, I think we will be happy with him. Guys like he will provide the secondary scoring this team has lacked for a long, long time.

My hope for this year is simply that they're more entertaining to watch. Last year was just downright painful. Yes, they lost a lot when Nolan was the coach and the players on the team were nowhere near as talented, but at least the games were somehow entertaining. This past year, not even close.

Injuries set him back and we still have to remember he's very young. from what I heard the Nylander-Bergie-Tage line was solid last night.

The novelty of tanking was new, and it was funny that Nolan was back.

Hes ready to go. I wouldn't be mad if they only played him 1 or 2 more times. Keep the PS mileage down. He doesn't need it

The thing is though, that team should have been painful to watch yet somehow managed to stay in games and at least keep things close more often than not. Remember how many people were freaked out that Nolan was ruining the tank?

Skinner-Eichel-Okposo
Sheary-Mitts-Reinhart
Nylander-Bergy-Tage
Sobotka-Erod-Pommer
Girgs

Scandella-Risto
McCabe-Dahlin
Guhle-Bogo
Beaulieau

Not sure on the d pairs, not sure if Guhle has been paired with Bogo or Nelson. But that's the lineup I would go with.

So I watched that Tusk movie last night you were talking about yesterday. Lol. That was some interesting sh!t to say the least. In terms of disturbing films though it's not even top 10. haha.

So I saw that Nylander had 2 apples last night.... did anyone see anything more of the game? How was the rest of his game? If he can crack this top 9 that'd be a huge boost to the offensive POTENTIAL. Tage making it too would be a big boost.

Late in the third he came down the left wing, went wide on a Dman and made his way to the net where he was alone on the goalie. Good play, didn't work

He played with high level puck control, vision was better than everyone else on the ice, and didnt try to be a hero.

I watched the trailer for it beforehand so I kind of had a small expectation. I didn't expect some of the things that it gave though. The inspector thing was dumber than all get out.

Apparently the whole thing is based off of a joke in the Gumtree (Canada's CraigsList) where a known prankster posted that he would offer free living conditions for anyone willing to come live there but they had to dress and act like a walrus at all times.
