You're completely misrepresenting the argument.
I never said the Leafs have to become a goon squad. I said they need to add a different dimension of the game to what they already have.
As for the Penguins, if you're going to compare the Leafs to the Penguins, you have to realize that the Leafs do not have the best player on the planet plus the 2nd or 3rd best player beside him. That makes your comparison weak. If you were talking about Edmonton and McDavid, maybe you'd have an argument but you can't compare the Leafs to the Penguins, it's just not the same thing.
