his one timer is also fantastic. It will be interesting to see the PP cycle to opposite sides to Brock and Elias this year for the one timers. - Codes1087
Yes he can really bend that stick, great one-timer! |

At the same age (22) Hansen had 60 NHL games with six goals fifteen assists for twenty one points. Motte has 79 NHL games with nine goals five assists. So assuming they're both getting bottom six minutes they're pretty much equal.
Hopefully Motte can be the next Hansen with his speed? - LeftCoaster
Good thing they have a year to develop his offence in the minors. |

Some top six minutes down there would be good for him |

There’s going to be a lot of top six guys down there this year. |

After yesterday game, im a bit excited to see what Roussel will bring. I dont know why but feel like his type of player was missing from an otherwise diverse group of forwards |

I'm hoping Pettersson, Goldobin and Dahlen make it but I'm guessing Dahlen is sent down. |

I am looking forward to the final roster.I think it will be better than people thought . Goal tending will still be an issue . |

Yeah, just saying every player that goes down that would benefit from top six minutes/roll won’t be able to because there will already be six guys doing that. |

I still don't think they'll be any good, the Oilers were the better team last night with our best two centres playing and they didn't have McDavid or Draisaitl in their lineup.
A development year and another good pick, with an injection of youth, I'm happy with that! |

I think Dahlen, Gaudette, Motte will start the season in the AHL. They will probably try and sneak through a Gaunce/Granlund on AHL dump day when there are a 100 names on the waiver list. Goldobin and Leipsic stick. |

I wasn't able to watch the third period, getting old, but Pettersson looked much better at even strength as the game went on. PP he's dynamite, controls the halfwall just like Henrik used to. - LeftCoaster
Agreed, he looked like he was having more fun out there as the game went on. I do think he will be better on the PP the more comfortable he gets, especially when it comes to being a threat to shoot (in a non one-timer way) |

The Oilers also played the night before where they got rid of the rust.
I think Canucks controlled a lot of the game too and Nilsson was nothing less that pure sh1t.
We also were missing our 4 best defenders ( Sutter Edler Markstrom and Beagle) and our best sniper Brock .
There was a lot of individuals that had a good outing and that is not what our team will look like. |

I agree but do think Gaudette will stick . |

Pettersson isn't a great skater, not poor either, but man he's got some sick mitts!!! - LeftCoaster
He'll be fine. Didn't see any issues with the speed of his game. Motte looks fast! |

Goaltending and defence. No different then we thought last season. If teams are looking. I would be selling Tanev and get a spare part to cover and some futures. |

Petersson is a very good skater. Lefty can’t see the tv over his fat gut. He was at a different level last night skill wise. It’s a miracle he didn’t score. Hutton....Ben Hutton....I know it’s preseason but please for the love of God send him to Utica now. There is no way Juolevi isn’t better. Hutton is the worst player on the team and it’s not close |

I was praising that pick from the time they said his name, minivan can look it up lol. I believe I said "I don't know how anyone can not like this pick because this kid is really skilled".
Or something like that? - LeftCoaster
You were one of the first to praise the pick. Vantel needs to put the pom poms down and pay attention. |

I knew he liked the pick . I meant that he needs to give JB some praise on the overall job.
BTW I was joking with him also ,because I don't give a flying fuk if he likes Benning or not. Also I like my pom poms just where they are thank you. |
