I thought that the Canucks were the better team for the most part, but Edmonton got great goaltending and we didn’t.

Lefty did say his skating needs work, I'd expect that means that, like Boeser, he's not going to be an exciting player.

Beagle wasn't playing last night.

Canuck were the far better team. Nilsson had very little action and when he did he sucked. Sub out Nilsson for Markstrom and Hutton for Rosterhawk and it’s a shutout easy.

Petersson is a very good skater. Lefty can’t see the tv over his fat gut. He was at a different level last night skill wise. It’s a miracle he didn’t score. Hutton....Ben Hutton....I know it’s preseason but please for the love of God send him to Utica now. There is no way Juolevi isn’t better. Hutton is the worst player on the team and it’s not close

Ya I might be coming around on this. I was in the 'give Hutton a shot' camp and I know it's only one game and all but it really looked like he was struggling and indecisive vs a half-Oiler squad. Might be a full time Utica guy like Gaunce.

He had 2 turnovers that led directly to a goal. The first one was all NIlsson and a decent goalie would have had the second one also.

He distributed okay on the PP but was nothing special.

There are definitely a few forwards worth checking out, but I am mainly intrigued by Juolevi, Chatfield, and to a lesser extent Gudbranson.
