In the best shape of his life

Unfortunately Giroux isn't a brain surgeon though

That’s just it. Huttons issue is his IQ and that ain’t being fixed. And Carol, that was me stating that EP was going to turnstile Garrison. Had a good laugh when he drew that penalty

Parts of his game are good but his decision making behind his own goalline is beyond bad. He can move the puck up the ice. Even his PK is good when he has one option to shoot it down. The rest are just bad though.

They need to cut ties already. Kid has had way too many chances

He's close to gone. Depends on OJ/DP and how BH does in the next game/games.

He peaked early and hasnt developed any further. I dont think he is any worse then his first year. I agree. Its time to see if someone will take a chance for a later round pick. If someone wont take him at 50% salary. Possibly take a worse contract back with a pick. A player with one year remaining like a Matt Moulson.

He's got the talent, but he tries to do too much out there. He can handle the puck and skate well and he's got good size, but he has a bad habit of handling the puck for too long in his own zone and that's what gets him in trouble.

Depends on what pick Buffalo would attach, oitherwise I don't see the point in trading a depth dman for an older depth winger.

It’s worth it. I’d help cover part of Huttons salary personally if that means I don’t have to watch him anymore

It doesn't matter as long as we get to blame somebody.

Logically, it’d be a terrible trade straight up

Better off just waiving him

Gillis was stupid for drafting him and Benning was stupid for signing him. Blame everyone but Elias

Of course. This was a 'shared blame' player, they are rare yet equally as infuriating

Something for nothing is worse then nothing for nothing? No one is claiming moulson. Vans not in cap troubles and a pick would be better then Hutton taking a D spot in Utica then Moulson playing for a different team.

I wouldnt do it straight up. Van would need a pick.

It isn't for nothing, the difference in salary is 2.2 million, would you pay that for a 4th 5th 6th or 7th round pick.
I would just sign an overager, who has just as much chance as making it as a late draft choice...at no cost.

It is pretty funny how Hutton was a late round draft pick and everyone was talking about what a great steal he was when playing well. Now everyones talking about shipping him off for a pick in the same range he was selected

If all our 5th rounders dont carve out 10-12 year careers I'll be severely disappointed

I had no idea it is your money Van is spending, sorry. 😉

You realize I said Van gets a late round pick from Buffalo right? This is literally what most have been dying for, for years.
