In open ice he's been fine, but once someone leans on him he just can't push back and hold his ice.

Chatfield didnt have a strong game. Edler played like an old man. Gudbranson.... was gudbranson. Pouliot made a ton of turnovers. Saughtner was strong and i thought juolevi played pretty well.

Gaudette and lind I was expecting a lot more out of. So many throw aways.

DP is so slow.

Lipsic looks decent.

They look like a college and junior player trying to make the passes and no-looks they could as amateurs that need more refinement as pros. Them+Boucher will make a real solid line in Utica.

A lot of the kids still have amateur habits. They'll work 60% of it out in the AHL with a season and the final stuff once they're full time players.

Edler and Gudbranson know what time it is. They don’t need to push in the preseason.

Chatty had one good shift in the 3rd, but I only saw the 3rd. He’s a depth guy, don’t expect too much.

Gaunce can go and there is always some roster shenanigans teams can play with IR to free up a spot. Can roll 7 D at the start of the year too. I doubt teams will be clamouring for Biega when everyone is focusing on getting down to 23 players.

Meh, he’s always been a conservative player physically. But he’s gonna need good positioning, skating and stick checking to make up for it.

Leipsic and Boucher were great, you can see why they’re AHL stars.

Palmu and Gaudette looked good. Edler and Chatfield pairing looked the best.

Well if we’re basing this purely on this pre-season so far then Goldy has the leg up for me. Had a good game against a less scrub filled lineup. Leipsic kinda sucked last night.
