I'm looking forward to seeing more from Miletic. Not that any forward has really jumped off the page, but he's been one of the more impressive forwards IMO.

His career looks fairly similar to Nick Jensen of DET. My guess is neither are or will be NHL caliber players.

Also, if the prove themselves and stick they lesson the sting of all the spent draft picks of the last decade...not as much as two back to back cups lesson the sting though. Not even close.

Ethan Prow has Career AHLer written all over him.

Prior to this season, Trotman seemed to be the next one up when all other roster options were used up and now they have Riikola. Plus, Ruhwedel is now the 7th dman, so his chances are pretty slim.

It's definitely a little thinner, but you really only need ONE to pan out. Miletic reminds me of a bigger version of Rust.

I'll disagree that there's no place for fighting in hockey; the place would be right after a stupid and cheap play like that, standing up for your temmate and laying a beating on a scumbag. It's not like we can count on the league to roll out any sort of consistent supplimental discipline.

Ekblad started the whole thing, Domi gave him ample time to defend himself. I think it’s simple don’t be a Richard and not fight, or if you want to be a Richard don’t expect other hockey players to not want to fight you. The entire thing played out beautifully.
