I'd be a bit surprised if Housley rolled out an all rookie(ish) line of Nylander, Mitts and Thompson. I could see a Pominville/Okposo there

Thompson playing top line, Asplund centering the 4th. Not sure what that means due to different positions but would probably point to Thompson still being ahead in that race even if is a slimmer margin than we thought in the summer.

I would love that all rookie line, and I think they would be fine but I agree too high risk for a second year coach, close to the hot seat (my opinion).

If Pommer plays long term in the top 6 this year, this team is in trouble again. Nylander and Thompson (this trade looks better every day) are playing great this camp.

Excited to watch that first line tonight, Mitts needs something to click. He could also just be a horrible practice player. The fire might only be lit when it needs to be...

thompson or nylander have to wow them to make the big club forcing pommer to the 4th line

if pommer is a third liner expect baily or baptiste to get that 4th line slot
