What the hell do we care what that moron says? (frank) me he sounded like a clueless (frank) in this. The irony of him, just missing a big red wig and oversized shoes, a joke is priceless. There is a reason no one watches that poop show. - burn
could not have been said any better!
amen...
the same drivel from the same collection of re-tread media hacks in toronto for decades.
at a high level... they blame the fans for get excited and planning the parade... and blame the fans for getting too excited - where do most of the sound bites and opinions that the fans get come from?

My guess is the roster they used in Lucan. Which was:
Hyman-Tavares-Marner
Leivo-Kadri-Brown
Grundstrom-Cracknell-Moore
Timashov-Mueller-Clark
Rielly-Hainsey
Dermott-Ozhiganov
Borgman-Holl
McElhinney
Sparks
But with Dermott being injured, and possibly missing tonight's game I'm not sure who will fill his spot. - LeafGuy89

So Friedman says the Leafs are prepared to let the Nylander contract negotiation linger beyond the season opener.
Take that for what it's worth. |

Brilliant strategy.
Nylander waits it out, misses 15 games, signs a bridge deal, and then next time his contract comes up, Marner will be the upper end comparable and they'll look at how he only got 50 something points in 2018-2019. |

IMO, all it proves is Friedman is actually throwing poop against a wall and hoping it sticks. |

I think all of them do. Obviously, some way more than others.
I just think he is guessing... Let's be honest, if the Leafs have a good start and the Nylander issue drags on, the better it is for the Leafs.

Not Dubas' fault.
His mom and dad took him to Nova Scotia to visit his relatives. Kyle wanted out of it, but his parents said no way, you aren't going to stay at home and throw parties with your friends while we are away. |

It was so mean of his parents, they wouldn't even give him the keys to the '97 Pontiac Bonneville to meet with Nylander and his agent. |

I should have taken screen shots of the final exam. 35 true or false questions:
If a player has a spinal injury, do you shake them vigorously to have the coins fall out of their pockets so you can make an emergency phone call?
True
False - Atomic Wedgie
The test has been amended; you must've taken the 1st edition.
It now states, "do you shake them vigorously to have their smart phone fall out of their pockets so you can make an emergency phone call without using your data?" |

Nylander's agent is being a real arse.
Dubas offered to meet at his favourite restaurant - Chuck E. Cheese - and Dubas would give Nylander as many tokens as he wanted for the "grab-a-prize" game.
Nylander's agent counted with proposing a meeting after 9:30 pm - when the streetlights have come on. He knows Dubas can't do that.
It's getting really ugly, folks. |

Time to phone Reebok, pretend I'm on the Leafs' training staff, and tell them to stop sending shorts with the 9" inseam - the Leafs only want 3" split-inseam running shorts. |
