Donskoi may be a 3rd line guy on the Sharks, but in Montreal he would be a top line guy. The guy is a stud and wildly under-rated, reason for his lower than projected points last year was mostly due to injury. As a Sharks fan, I REALLY do NOT want to see Donskoi go...he is my next Jersey actually. But with him being UFA at the end of 2018-19 and Sharks Cap issues next year, I'm afraid it could be true that we move him. Whenever he has the puck, he makes other teams look flat out stupid...and is probably one of the best shoot out guys I have ever seen. I haven't seen anyone else put a goalie so far out of position in a shootout attempt as Donskoi does regularly.
