Crapload of AHLers on last nights Leafs squad, wasn't there. Marlies are gonna be a handful. Bracco looks good. Rosen as well. Lindholm...not so sure yet.

Had company last night...couldn't really focus on the hockey. I was watching....but not watching. Sandin is a beaut, no doubt. I also like Moore and Mueller - then there's Marchment. No need to trade for role players at the deadline, I don't think.

Crazy about Aaltonen...thought he'd be an almost shoe in on the 4th this year.

I'm betting TB and Washingtons goalies played well too....our PK didnt get scored on as much or we had less penalties..

Leafs pk was 11th and they were 28th in pims/game. Good combo I would say.

Leafs only gave up 4more 5on5 goals than caps.

Leafs had less goals overall, 12 more goals given up 5on5 but significantly better on the pk. Hard to to look at those numbers and say they are better defensively imo

This is the point though. Overall leafs ahead of both (not a lot mind you) and 5on5 pretty equal. But leafs d is terrible and the other two are examples of excellence

the leafs are a bottom 5 shots against team. some games their d looks super ugly.

toronto's PK and lack of penalties in general props of their GA numbers. 4th least amount of 4 on 5 goals against last year. 5 on 5 no doubt tampa and washington play better d
