Babcock will not play any backup 25 games.

And the Leafs are a contender. I don't really want a rookie backup. Too risky.

- RogerRoeper

Pickard already has a season where he played 50 games for Colorado. Sure, his numbers weren't great, but Colorado was terrible. He also has a season playing 20 and putting up a 2.56gaa and .922 save %, as well as 16 games with 2.35gaa and .932 save %.

I would feel more confident giving the backup job to Pickard over Sparks.

Meh, just means the following game will be our main roster, it'll be a treat!

Seems Liljegren will be playing in that game too I wonder if that means anything

Gardiner is just so frustrating. He is like Kaberle 2.0. Soft as hell in front of the net and while he does get his points how many does he cost us at the same damn time?! I really hope we don't overpay to keep him.

Up front Engvall with his size has shown enough have to think he is pushing himself into consideration especially with others being a bit underwhelming so far.

Defence I think Oz and Rosen have really pushed themselves, as has CyBorg honestly. Dermott was meh before getting hurt and not sure Holl has done enough either to really outdo the other 3 at this point. Going to be a very interesting race to see who can claim the spots, at least out of the gate.

Goaltending I think the hope was Sparks was going to take McBackup's job but he just hasn't done enough and that last game was a stinker. Pickard has looked pretty good and steady, and McBackup doesn't look like he has fallen off in the least. Sparks also is going to have a bit of trade value so thinking he likely is the odd man out at this point.

Sorry, but Gardiner couldn't carry Kaberle's jock strap. Gardiner makes bone head play after bone head play (that pass to Marleau along the boards on the PP... what the hell was he thinking?). Kaberle was a great player. He wasn't the same after the hit by Janssen... one of my favourites!

I agree. Sparks still has poor rebound control. I would be more comfortable with Mac or Pickard.

BOYS! He goin' to smoke le habs tonight or what?

That sucks. I would rather give it away then throw it out.. Long time to be down these days.

All of Ottawa got knocked out. Aside from one strip through the heart of downtown for some reason.

I am west of Ottawa..mine was back up Sat morning around 9am. Was surprised it was so quick

was pretty lucky, not much damage outside of a Tree that blew over and my ice fishing hut is on its side.

Couple friends lost their Houses. they were out towards Kinburn/Dunrobin

Ya its something along those lines, not sure if there are a minimum amount of games required. But I have a feeling there isn't.

9 players on that list played atleast a couple games in the NHL last year.

Sucks we are icing that roster at Home, the fans deserve better and should get our NHL lineup not our AHL roster.
