I'm not sure on this (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), but I think the rule is that the visiting team has to dress X number of NHLers. I can't recall if the home team has to also dress a half-decent lineup.

I get what the Leafs are doing - you take the 20 guys still fighting for 3-4 spots, and say "this is your last chance to impress us.

At the end of the day, pre-season games are about selecting your best team and getting them ready. MLSEL shouldn't give two poops about entertaining us.

Both teams must dress a minimum of 10 NHLer per preseason game.

This being said, some players qualify as "nhl players" despite being old, washed up or most likely not making the team.

PP2: Marleau, Leivo, Ennis, Johnnson, Gardiner

That is a disappointing line up for our side if its genuine. Home game and this is what you ice for your fans? It just can't be legit. They have to throw a few decent players in the mix at least...? Should I even bother watching if they don't??

I was going to have a few buds over to watch the game but now I am wondering if I should just cancel...

its the same thing every pre-season. this is not new. I remember the same complains last season..the last few pre-season games I think some fans actually played

Not sure why everyone expects players to always increase their point totals every year.

I am west of Ottawa..mine was back up Sat morning around 9am. Was surprised it was so quick

was pretty lucky, not much damage outside of a Tree that blew over and my ice fishing hut is on its side.

Couple friends lost their Houses. they were out towards Kinburn/Dunrobin
