Sure was. This team digs deep. And Carson led a game winning drive. Penalty help or not. I respect the poop out of this win, no matter how dirty and frustrating it was.

Sad thing is, when he plays a string he is a better goalie than Elliot. He just has never made it through a season without getting hurt. We need them to have an even split if games. Something like 45-35 split.

Neuvirth is capable of getting red hot for short stretches but overall I don't think he's better than Elliott is.

In the NYI game he played, he made some crazy diving play where he came charging out of the crease. I figured that would be the play that put him down.

Hard to say. Neuverth has those stretches where he is red hot. I don't recall him losing the net during those stretches even when Mason was here. They always seemed to end with him breaking again. I don't think he is better long term because he has never been able to hold up long term. Always know it will be a short run. But they are good while they last. Always end up saying "what if"?
