FFS, I hope Coots is ok. They really can't afford to be losing their top center. If not, I have to think they move Giroux to center, there is simply no one else on the pro roster that is capable of stepping up and playing top 6 quality center at the NHL level.

Assuming Coots is ok, seems like the first two lines have gotten a lot of press and appear to be a lock. What's our bottom six looking like? And, assuming MacDonald is back, what's our opening night 6 D?

Coverage of the dynamic due of Weise/Letera has been scarce....is the former going to be waived and the latter a fixture on the fourth line?

I completed a fantasy draft with no prep on my phone whilst holding a child. In summary, I did not get Barzal

I have a hard time believing Barzal is going to repeat last year.

PP numbers probs take a hit with Tavares gone, but he's legit otherwise.

Hard to say re both. My best guess for the bottom 6, knowing the kind of players Hak likes is:

Lindblom-Vorobyev-Simmonds
Laughton-Lehtera-Raffl

For the D, again it’s hard to say. If Sanheim doesn’t get into any preseason games and AMac is ready to go for the opener, my best guess would be:

Provorov-Ghost
AMac-Gudas
Hagg-Myers

Personally, it those are the 6 they are going to go with, I’d break up the top pair and go:

Provorov-Gudas
AMac-Ghost
Hagg-Myers

And, after he gets in a few games with LHV, I’d bring up Sanheim, waive or trade Folin and go with:

Provorov-Ghost
AMac-Myers
Sanheim-Gudas or Hagg

Am I alone in that I’d prefer to split ghost and Provorov? Ghost looks great in that pair but I like Provorov paired with a more d minded player.

Provorov-amac
Ghost-gudas
Sanheim-Myers

I’d start with this prob.

If those are the 6 they are rolling with I’d rather keep the top pair together, put Myers with AMac on the 2nd unit and go with Sanheim/Gudas as the 3rd. Hopefully by next season Provy/Myers can be the top pair

Are we sure Raffl is a given? I am assuming he is but has he really done anything to make you think he is a given or is he just getting the "vet" going through the motions type preseason.

I am really pulling for a Twarynski - Laughton - Raffl type 4th line. A line that can play with speed and physicality.

Raffl is a given, he’s a well liked vet who has been here for a while. However, if he’s not playing well a few games into the season, he could easily lose his spot.

The whole coots injury worries me. Sounds like it might be something that will continue to get hurt but he is going to try to manage through it. That may not work out well.

Can't believe neuvy is hurt again really need to move on to a reliable backup.

Especially with Elliott being such a huge question mark right now.

I think we may see Carter Hart much sooner than later if he continues to play lights out in these remaining preseason games.

Question. Just say Hart makes the Flyers. With Elliott still there is he the starter or is it a time share thing or back up?

I have a hard time see Hart on this roster to sit.
