If he's in the 15-20 range by the time this year's deadline rolls around I'd send him packing... They need to clear up roster spots and hopefully grab some assets in the process

Habs don't have till Oct 25th to decide what they'll do with Kotkaniemi.
they have till he plays his 9th game which could be Oct 25th at the earliest, but it could be at xmas. it doesn't have to be the first 9 games of the season, he can sit a game here and there.
