Groupon was the only reason to go.

We're finally headed in the right direction as an organization and someone has to go and screw it up. I feel that Gritty is just plain stupid and uncalled for. I am not happy about it but in the general sense, who cares. Has nothing to do with the team. Just an embarassing black eye for the organization.

Now, if Gritty sits in the upper bowl every game, gets drunk, and yells at refs, then we have a Philly mascot!

Lets be honest. Any game in Philly isn't really kid friendly. This is an attempt to change that image while preserving the history of Philly.
