Vandevelde is a legitimate NHL mascot that has earned the trust of a NHL organization. The fact that he has been unsigned for this long is meaningless.

How many guys could suit up as a mascot and just don’t get the call? I’ll trust the mascot people on this one. I like Gritty.

There's no way they'll allow that thing in the aisles during play.

Most people can barely tolerate when someone stands up to get up to the the bathroom at games. If that walking carpet blocks someone's view during the game, he'll end up getting shivved.
