in and someone was covering from him at the blue line and Tiffoli carried the puck through center and entered the Dzone and takes a normal shot and the goalie whiffs .

Toffoli didn’t carry the puck he caught the puck, didn’t close his hand, dropped it to his stick with Juolevi standing in front of him while Toffoli quickly takes a shot on net that Markstrom didn’t save.

I thought markstrom was awful on both goals. Thought mdz made a bad play on the first goal with markstrom letting in a softie. And i thought it was gudbransons pinch that led to juolevi scrambling, but also playing poor defensive coverage on tofolli, who then beat markstrom with another weak goal.

Forget branding him this or that. He’s actually solid to good but....

He deflates the team at any point in a game. His 1st shot goal or whatever it comes down to we play chase too often. When he is on he’s very good. He’s just not consistent & not a true starter.

Honestly I thought Stecher was crap last year, I have always stated that it was the Canucks that screwed up his developement. They put him in situations he never should have been put in.

I hope the best for all Canuck players, even Eriksson.
