Honestly I thought Stecher was crap last year, I have always stated that it was the Canucks that screwed up his developement. They put him in situations he never should have been put in.

He isn’t the root of our problems. NYI filled the net & missed the PO’s. Our problems are many things & the pain will be real for awhile yet.

Our goaltending is top notch, patrick Roy wouldn't have stopped those shots, if OJ was even an ECHL caliber fortnight player he would have prevented both goals.

I'm not watching the game either, snuggling my 4yo too sleep.

When we have D as immobile & lacking offence such as ours its a struggle. 82 game seasons won’t be pretty. Having F’s who can overcome that takes a ton of talent & the odds are slim that the D won’t get exploited & its warts shown.

He should've closed that gap quicker, yes, still shouldn't let that in from there. For a big guy too many pucks go through Markstrom, he plays small.

Exactly why I laugh when I see anyone compare him to Tanev with more offense or Hampus Lindholm. He’s not reliable defensively, he’s an offensive dman.
