I think the D is nearly set in stone now and 2 of the *forwards will be replaced by Nylander and Hyman. I think Moore and Gauthier go down and are the first 2 call ups for injury this year.

I think the 3am stuff isn't about invalidating your points, it's about an obsession with having the last word, which is why being up at 3am arguing the same point over and over, talking in circles, without trying to look at the opposing view's perspective is a negative. At that point it's not a discussion with valid points going back and forth, it's just about "winning" which is a pretty ignorant way of approaching a conversation. We all do it from time to time but if multiple people are telling you that it's an issue for you, maybe it's something you should look at...

It was resolved today. So, they couldn't really wait, they would have to hold on to him well past the trade deadlines, and keep him until the off-season.
Considering he was re-instated in early August, they had to trade him when they did. Otherwise, he would sit on the bench every game to a chorus of boo's here..

I know he wasn't gonna play another game for the Jays regardless of the outcome of all this. They still could have held onto him and chosen as an organisation to not play him until it was resolved/the season ended.

They would still hold his rights and they could have traded him in the off-season. And the Jays would absolutely have gotten more in a trade for him.
