Top line played great.
Staal was very noticeable...in a good way.
Lehteri deserves a roster spot.
VESEY and Namestnikov are invisible.
Barzal must have velcro attached to his stick. The guy never loses the puck
Took train home w/ my daughter. missed our train, so had to take Ronkonkoma line. My daughter (8) asked me "what is wrong w/ all those guys, are they drunk?", I said "yes, hunny, and they are from Ronkonkoma!"
Nothing like a bunch of 30-40 yr. olds (girls and guys) dropping the F bomb 100 times in front of a bunch of kids b4 train even leaves the station. |

haha, yeah, I can't take Ranger-Islander games anymore for this reason
Vesey has been real disappointing, I thought he'd come into camp with fire to prove himself and there's just been nothing

Meh. Nothing too special. Looks better defensively than on offense |

In the OT he and Chytil looked a little overwhelmed. |

Nice write up. Thanks, Vanilla Jan.
I missed the game last night, but my take on why shift Chytil to wing rather than Lias is that it makes it easier to fit Chytil into the top 6 where he most certainly belongs. Lias may end up being more, but right now his game suits the bottom 6 a little better. Not to say he can't play up in the line up, just that Chytil would fit the bottom 6 less. |

So far.
Going to be interesting what the line up looks like opening night.
Think that kid Crawley has been good. |

I think he can eventually develop into the next Girardi, with a little more snarl |

It may be vanilla, but for those that live in Long Island and would get the reference, it’s topped with the Marvel Mix.

He has been really good in pre-season, hope he can find a spot in the lineup.
How funny was Zucc getting the stick caught in his visor and swapped sticks with the Isle in the box? Fortunate there was no injury. |

I also Think that having Andersson in the Middle makes sense a bit more b/c he will be better in D zone down low. Chytil just seems like a winger, but its real early. |

Best part of that was the Isles player was trying to convince ref it wasn't a penalty and at the same time his stick was stuck in Zuuc's visor
MSG didn't play their pre-game "special effects ice show" b4 game. They did it in preseason last year. My daughter was pisssed! lol I guess they are still in process of re-doing it? |

Probably the best player this preseason. Going to be interesting during the season if things don't go his way, will he fight through it or pout. |

That is sound logic but it would be nice to see a potentially elite player stick at Center. Might have an elite winger in Kravtsov coming in anyway. |
