Expansion fees are not counted as "revenues" - so they have no affect on the cap.

However, the success of Vegas at the box office will have a small effect - I'm assuming they did better than the average franchise, so that's good news. But keep in mind if they took in $62 million more than the average club, that would only mean a cap bump of $1 million.

And we still have Arizona acting as a drag...

They have about 30 mil space next year (+ 5.5 for Horton + 2 mil cap going up as it always does), so they'll have at least 37.5 mil to resign Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Gardiner.

Then Johnsson and Kapanen will get small raises.

Loads of money left. Don't be surprised if the Leafs are huge players in the UFA market next season.

A minimum 24.5 -27 will be for the big 3.
Gardiner will want a minimum 6per
Kap and andreas will want a raise.
Hainsey is off the books. Minus 3 mill
Sparks will get a bit of raise.

They wont be big players in ufa and dont have much money as people think.
Hopefully the cap continues to go up 3-4 mill per year.
