Nylander has no leverage as an RFA. IMO he is to focused on what Matthews and marner may be getting and wants to be paid proportional. I get that but seeking a contract on how he may perform in the future being high on his own ability etc. I get that thinking. I feel he should go-agree on Pasternak $. Perhaps 6.75 x 5 years. Then show what he can do and land bigger pay at age 27
No way they give him anywhere near $8 mil let alone over $7. If they cave into $7 million then lock him up over 7-8 years.
