The PTSD was from him going from a team that could beat Boston to one that can't.

tampa - nothing more needs to be said, they're loaded everywhere

boston - I think they're still better than the leafs.....but not by much

leafs - their offense is going to be lethal, but they still give up too many shots. not sure that Andersen will be able to maintain his play facing that much rubber for a 3rd straight year

fla - made some nice additions in the offseason, but sketchy D still leaves them way behind the clear division "big 3"

buf - lots of talent, but still too young....I think they're a playoff team next year

ott - the front office is an absolute tire fire, no doubt, but there is still more talent on that roster than in Mtl or Det....plus, they are playing with zero pressure

mtl - the habs centers scored a COMBINED 20 goals last year.....there isn't enough scoring punch on this team, and the D is AWFUL without weber, and only really bad with him. if price returns to vezina form they might finish ahead of ott and buf, but if he's anything but spectacular, I think they're second last

det - I'm pretty sure half the teams in the AHL would crush the wings....their roster is AWFUL, top to bottom.

Leafs were 11th lowest in goals allowed last year in the league.

3rd in the East - behind only Boston and Columbus.

Perhaps the "Leafs can't defend" narrative is a bit overstated?

Perhaps?

- Atomic Wedgie

"Leaf can't defend in playoff"

Is that better ?

Interesting.

I believe Ottawa is the worst team in the NHL.

Habs defense might not be great, but it's still better than Ottawa's after Karlsson left.

Guess time will tell.

For the rest, I pretty much agree... though you were a little harsh on Detroit too.

No cause its silly to count the Habs goal from center last year when our #1 center was 17 last year...

Plus we want to tank

Then you say there more talent in Ottawa then in MTL... Sorry but where exactly ?

I honestly think Boston could win the division. I really like that team, especially Pasternak.

Ottawa Montreal Detroit will fight it out for the bottom three, no one really knows what order.

Duchene, Stone, Tkachuk and Chabot are pretty good.

But that's about it.

He doesn't consider Drouin as a center, just like everyone except for the Montreal Canadiens

Stone and duchene are better than any forward on the jabs roster

I’d take chabot over any D on the habs roster

The depth is comparable

The only place the habs are better is in goal

I did I did.

Larkin, Mantha, Zadina (once Blashill is smart enough to use him), Anthanasiou (I like him for some reason) and Green are decent players.

Don't get me wrong, they're not in great shape but their best players are young and they still have their own 1st round pick.

Maybe they'll suck more than Ottawa this year, but their near future is most likely brighter?

TSN threw up a list last night and crouton wasn’t listed as a center but as a wing.

Based it off that

Chabot has alot to prove, great potential but I'd wait before calling him better than everyone else.

And even if he were better than anyone not named Weber, he's all alone out there.... unless you think Ceci is good which is something i'll disagree with forever.
