(frank), I despise this player.

King of the microfractures.

He's very good though.

The Habs should be officially out of playoff contention by about 7:30PM tonight.

Enjoy the season, folks.

Is Alzner sitting tonight too?
- hscesq

I think he's playing on the third pair with Ouellet.

I did I did.

Larkin, Mantha, Zadina (once Blashill is smart enough to use him), Anthanasiou (I like him for some reason) and Green are decent players.

Don't get me wrong, they're not in great shape but their best players are young and they still have their own 1st round pick.

Maybe they'll suck more than Ottawa this year, but their near future is most likely brighter?

- Scabeh

Maybe the future is brighter....:but I was basing standings on this year .......right now Ottawa has more talent in the lineup

At the end of the day it’s comparing one poop to another.......ott, mon, and det (and maybe van) are probably the worst teams in the league.......they could all be bottom teams.

TSN threw up a list last night and crouton wasn’t listed as a center but as a wing.

Based it off that

- SENSARMY11

So you're just here to clarify what McKenzie and Dreger said on that's hockey the night before? Will this be a daily update or just a season preview edition?

He is good. If he sucked, I wouldn't hate him so much.

On paper, things are not looking great I agree.

But it's day one of the season, let's wait before drowing in despair. Our guys played with alot of heart in preseason! I think they'll be annoying to play against this year!

They have to showcase Benn if they eventually want to trade him

Stone and duchene are better than any forward on the jabs roster

I’d take chabot over any D on the habs roster

The depth is comparable

The only place the habs are better is in goal

- SENSARMY11

I prefer Drouin and Kot

There, and beside you will loose both before the end of the year...

Well to be fair, Kotkaniemi has alot to prove before I say he's better than Matt Duchene.

And right now, Stone is a better player than Drouin.

Things can change though.

Plecky is a healthy scratch tonight.

Fire up the #TeamHudon

Sorry Obie........

- Snots33_77

If I'm part of the MLSEL video team, I'm pissed.

I know they prepared a beautiful 20 minute video tribute for Plek's return.

The first 15,000 fans tonight receive a commemorative turtleneck.

It's pretty poopy of Habs management to ruin Plek's Welcome Back Party.

Shameful.

So they can get 2 pucks instead of 1?

Oh my.

Alzner is not playing after all.

Ouellet-Benn as the third pair.

Surprising stuff.

Chabot has alot to prove, great potential but I'd wait before calling him better than everyone else.

And even if he were better than anyone not named Weber, he's all alone out there.... unless you think Ceci is good which is something i'll disagree with forever.

- Scabeh

I think ceci is awful......I think wideman is wildly underrated. I think lajoie will surprise, and I think it’s only a matter of time before jaros is back up. Ceci and boro will likely be buried on the bottom pair (I hope)
