Just curious as to why Bogo gets so much love from the coaches and players. The guy spends more time with the physio and medical staff than he does with his teammates and coaches. Maybe I am under-rating his disc spinning ability in the locker room before the games?

Not one guy had the “are you f-ing kidding?” me look that vanek had on his face when pommer was named captain by lindy.

Fake .500 is a reasonable goal. Still feels like a team that's going to struggle to get secondary scoring, is going to give up a lot of goals, and has question marks in net. The big difference this year is that the prospects and new faces give plenty of reason to be encouraged about the future. I think it's safer to view this as a transition year and keep expectations modest.
