The lines listed are actually what we've been screaming for over the past few years. 3 lines of balanced scoring possibility. I see no issue with them as long as Hak balances time on ice for 2 and 3 which will understandably be affected if there is a lot of special teams play. - dragonoffrost
We don’t know what the lines will provide until we play. We don’t know if Vorobyev can put up points consistently or if Simmonds and JvR can work well together because both will drive to the net. We haven’t even seen a JvR-Vorobyev-Simmonds line in pre season. I hope every line finds its success but I’m not gonna speak like I know what to expect until I’ve seen it. You’re lying right here, right now if you think you know what to expect. |

With the amount of scotch that will be in my system at that point, I’d likely miss. - BiggE
You know what would be the ultimate dream, having Dale Weise show up to greet the BuzzGate crowd. Then randomly pick a person to give a signed #22 jersey to and hand it to BiggE....Everyone looks over and sees this
Obviously with a bottle of scotch in hand. |

If their pp is among the top 5 in the league, they get slightly better and more consistent goaltending and can get their PK into the 80-82% range, they could challenge for the division. - BiggE
if, if and if, many teams can make the same claim no? May not be the same variables but 3 if's and division champs. |

He is difficult to predict. Coming off consecutive 20+ ES goal seasons. I also think PP2 is going to much better. When I was looking thru this, the Flyers had about 55 PP goals last season, about 47 of them were scored by members of the top PP.
I think they'll be around 52-58 PP goals this season, but I think the coaching staff plans to play the 2nd pp a bit more than last season. I think the split will be more like 40-12. Which translates to about 4 PP goals for JvR and the rest with ES, which he can do. - VladDrag
The 2nd PP unit may get hot and get more ice time but I'd be very surprised if the coaching staff elects to lower the ice time of the first unit with perhaps the two best players at their position on the PP in the NHL on it. |

With the Flyers possibly using 8 out of their top 9 on the PP, I would love to see Hak do what Babcock did last night by starting PP2 to start and have PP1 do clean up. |

He didn't apprecite Ellers late game celly and the next time they were on the ice he jumped him. Instigator/fighting/misconduct with 6+ mins left |

Why? - MJL
Well first why it happened for Toronto is because someone on their PP1 normally drew the penalty, Hak tends to start PP1 even if one of the players draw the penalty.
It seemed to give the 2nd unit a crack at Montreal's top PK unit and really put pressure on when Matthews and Co. came out instead of just running out the remaining time.
Would it work for the Flyers, not sure, but thought it was an interesting approach from Babcock. |

Eller skated by Bruins bench and chirped after scoring the 7th goal in a 7-0 game....Marchand jumped him ...and pounded him to a pulp...bloodied him pretty good. good lesson for those young Euro's on the Flyers...don't disrespect your opponent.

Read comments first...Bruin fans comments "Don't rub it in if you don't have the hands to throw"
Watched video...Marchand sucker punches him, Eller still has gloves on while Marchand is jumping throwing punches. Eller gets his gloves off, Marchand contacts with a couple punches. Eller laughs at Marchand.
I have to look up what the penalties were that the officials handed out, but I would say that deserves at least 1 game, maybe 2 for repeat offender. |

It will be interesting to see how much of a team leader Marchand is when they play the Caps again...or will it be the big guy standing behind him bailing him out of his antics again. |

Boo-(frank)ing-hoo. Don’t want to get chirped at? Try showing up and playing the damned game. The Bruins put forth a miserable effort last night. Instead of sucker punching Ellers, Marchand should have smacked himself and everyone of his teammates upside the head for the pathetic effort they showed last night. Marchand is a piece of crap and if karma really exists, guys like him and Tom Wilson will end the season with a couple of blown out knees. |

Looks like Wilson will be back next time they see the Bruins in January. Best case scenario:
Wilson Vs Chara....Chara knocks Wilsons head off and immediately retires.
Marchand Vs Ovechkin...AO picks him up, slams him over crossbar and Marchand immediately retires. |
