I mean, half the roster is new and this is their first game together. They look out of synch and are trying to be too perfect. Usually not a great combo.

Agreed. Playing hot potato early on,seemed they were trying to play fast, like too fast but not real great at it yet.

Passes are in the skates most of the time, if they’re on the tape they still loose possession dmen can’t cover anyone in the zone and the forwards can’t gain the zone with the puck. Housley isn’t perfect but holy crap these are nhl players and they can’t even pass the puck.

They’re also trying to make most passes while standing still and trying to pass it to someone else standing still. There’s just 0 fluidity in their game. Move your feet. Stop being reactive to what’s going on and make things happen.
