Out coached IMO. B’s knew if they kept everything outside Buffalo wouldn’t be a threat. The skill guys gotta “skill”. They need to move the puck quicker side to side and get the goalie moving.

I think there is zero truth to this. I think Housleys leash is quiet short with the moves that were made this offseason, they don't want another last place finish.

which in turn resulted in the easy 2 on 1 goal

Risto didn’t do anything wrong on that play
I didn’t watch the game very closely,
so maybe the other goals were Risto’s fault

Sobotka would be a good 4th liner and although Berglund is a good addition he might be better suited for the wing. We do have better talent though. At certain parts of the game last night you could see that. It was just few and far between.

PP goal was miscommunication by Jack / Scandella IMO. They both went after Bergeron on the boards and one of them needed to stay with Donato. But even if that happened, Marchant still had a shot from the slot. Rodrigues was a step away from blocking the pass to the rat. Theme of the night, one step too slow.

I think they played better in the 2nd but Halak came up big on the few good chances they had. If they would've just buried one, maybe they would've relaxed a little and played better. Where's a garbage goal when you need one?

Tomorrow is another day. F the Rangers.
