Oct 7 - morning - Girgs falls down in practice and slides into Eichel, Risto and Dahlin - bowling ball style. All are out with season ending knee injuries.

Oct 7 - evening - Reinhart quits Sabres and becomes Eichel's full-time caregiver during Eichel's recovery.

Oct 8 - Blow-you sends a wild slap shot at the net during the Golden Knights pre-game warm-up, hitting Skinner in the head. Skinner is out indefinitely with a concussion and refuses to sign an extension with the Sabres. He is quoted as saying "I refuse to play on any team that dresses Blow-you and Larsson."

Oct 10 - Hutton and Ulmark get in a fight with Josh Allen and LeSean McCoy at the Anchor Bar. All four end up in jail. Kim Pegula is disgusted and trades them all for late round draft picks. Scott Wedgewood is promoted to starting goalie, with Jason Kasdorf as the back-up.

Sabres go 9-70-3 for 21 points

Leading scorer is Matt Moulson with 15 goals + 16 assists for 31 points. Johan Larsson is second with 9 + 11 = 20 points.

Bogo plays 81 games while leading the team in +/- at -38.
