watching EP last night it seems he carried the team on his back. Opening the scoring and the helper on the 2nd picked the team up. This is what nhl captains do.... Eventually he may be a top candidate for the C except he is currently so young and not ready for media.
Hopefully this lights a fire under horvat to rise and grab the C.

I have the same opinion. The pro Benning and anti Benning crowds both equally suck. Way more variety on carols blog. This is a great place to talk hockey even if we are forced to deal with reubys boy like behaviour

JV is the perfect villain for Calgary.

Our speed was fun to watch. Still wanting to see more threats on D & scoring. Marky was very solid. Flames as usual look like a team without an identity.

longterm. say we don't move him or buy him out. does he get to go through waivers again next season?

or is a buyout at the end of this season the most likely scenario?

I didn't read the Linden Love Letter from B1tchford. I am glad Linden was fired I never liked him as a Pres. It always seemed awkward that him and Jim pretended to like each other but were seldom seen in the same room.

No amount of public crying will bring him back . Right or wrong the whole management seem to be all in agreement on things. I still think if Benning has a horrible year he will be gone.
