Is it too early start putting Bryan Little's face on milk cartons. The man has been missing ever since he signed his extension.

Bryan Little is so underrated that he's become overrated!!!

My 2 adult sons and I are making our pilgrammage from atlanta to Winnipeg January 11-16. We have tickets for the Anaheim and Vegas games and the Moose games on the 12th and 14th. I am hoping to host an event near the MTS Centre before one of the games to meet some of the folks on this blog and other Jets fans.
I am about to buy my Moose tickets, but I have one question. It appears that the tickets on the end where the Moose shoot twice are less expensive than the defend twice end. Is this correct? The price is not important I just want to make sure I am sitting where I think I'm sitting.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Needless to say, We are looking forward to being immersed in the MTS Centre experience.....

It would be cool to get together with other bloggers on this site. I think Ross77 was supposed to arrange a get together.

Because I have to play nice, all I’m going to say is that Sami Niku and Tucker Poolman are already competent NHL defencemen

*edit* I’m also going to go ahead and praise Connor Hellebuyck for his performance, and the 90+ shots he will probably have faced on the first two games

Tyler Myers has played 556 NHL games better than the one he played tonight

You're not say anything but nice things lasted about two periods. Trouba was brutal as well. Cost us three goals with some really shoddy defensive play.

Almost finished catching up on the Jets game, suggestion for Chevy:

Trade the terrible Trouba while he is still wildly overrated. Promote Niku for good.

That was as nice as I could spin it. He almost singlehandedly lost the game for us.

Back to the nice things now

I like that goal by Seguin, the one where he received a nice pass from behind the net from Radulov. I am glad we had two of the Jets best back there in Little and Trouba watch the play unfold.

It is kinda funny how similar Jets nation and Rexy are, what I appreciate about both of you is how hard you defend the guys you like and try to deflect the bad press away from them. Jets nation with Myers as per this comment above and Rexy multiple times with his favs.

I thought Little was more to blame on that goal but Myers was up by the blue line for no apparent reason so it’s hard to figure out what he was doing on the replay, was he a winger that shift?

I think Myers figured that since both Little and Trouba were behind the net on Radulov that they would get the puck from him.

I completely understand why some, not me, Jet fans would want Trouba traded or gone and I myself have accepted that this is probably his last year here but please, please, please, pretty please don’t wish for a new contract for Myers!!! He is miles behind Trouba talent and worth wise.

I think Myers was on the ice or in the penalty box for every goal scored tonight, just saying.

Our system is a bit of a mess at the moment. I’m not toooooo concerned on the whole, as that’s how we started last season, but we really shouldn’t be getting pelted like this *cough*our 4th and 5th best dmen are with the Moose*cough*

The bottom line is that the PK remains a flaccid, disjointed mess, and nobody with a “7” on their jersey that isn’t named “Adam” or “Lowry” should ever be allowed on the ice down a man. Ever.

My quick takes on the game.

1) The last change home ice advantage really paid off for the Stars. They were able to put the Seguin line on against the Little Laine Perreault line almost all game and they destroyed them.

2) Both Myers and Trouba were terrible. Trouba cost us two goals all by himself (one was also Little's falut as well) , and while Myers never actually cost us a goal he was a victim for one penalty which did ,and on the ice for 4 goals against. Chariot can't let Benn have three whacks at the puck like that. Buff had two stupid penalties as well. Perreault played the puck instead of picking up Seguin which cost us a goal. Dallas's second goal was Hellebyck's fault for not covering off the short side properly.

3) TLC line was excellent. Roslovic line held their own as well.

4) Kyle Connor once again looking like a superstar. Scheif held his own. Wheeler, on the other hand, was downright awful.

5) Dallas defense were incredibly good. They are going to be a really tough match every time with play them. Heiskanen looks like an awesome pick. I think Dallas may finish 2nd in the Division.

6) Jets PK truly misses Hendricks directing traffic. The stats since they day he was injured are huge proof of that.

7) As usual, the individual corsi sats on this game don't remotely tell the story of what happened.

8) My boy Elias Pettersson gets another 2 goals and an assist last night, all beauties. The kid is the next wunderkind . It's going to be hard to be a fan of him and yet not be at all a Canucks fan.

Happy Thanksgiving !!!

So, when you say your “2 adult sons”, do you mean your actual kids?
Because I often refer to Connor, Niku, Petan, and Dano as my adult sons. Enstrom and Backstrom are uncles, and I’m pretty sure I elected Byfuglien as the dad. It’s a weird family.

Even before the 1st period was over I was thinking - 'Dallas is sick and tired of losing to us (0-8 last 8) and the Jets think this is 2 easy points'

Jets are no longer a surprise - everyone knows we're coming and they'll bring their best against us ... will be more of a challenge this year

Laine used to pad his stats vs Stars - say hello to Seguin & his buddies ... Jets like to cycle puck and create opportunities - Stars took that away ... they took our game away almost all night

Well ... we split on the road ... looking forward to Tuesday night home opener - come on by sec 113 and say hi

I did not watch the game, but I am thinking that scoring more than one goal and taking less dumb penalties would have been helpful.
