It's going to happen more often I think.

I love Kreider and Zib but now they are the de facto number one line, playing against other teams top players. They are good but aren't elite. They may struggle on more nights to produce.

Hopefully Vesey and Hayes can keep taking advantage of who they match up against.

True. I just don't know who will actually score on that 2nd line.

he did sign a two year extension, not sure what that means
- jimbro83

Unsure if he meant to say that he signed with the trainer before the extension. But agreed, that piece is inaccurate. Was more focused on the minor injury he had early in camp.

At least Vesey shot the puck a lot last night

Hayes and Zucc will always try to pass the puck into the net

I was hoping Hayes might start off like his ending last year, shooting a bit more and realizing he can score goals.

Pionk, I think everyone was yelling from the bench "come get a stick" he said "nah, I don't need one"

Best part was Joe had no idea he was trying to convince Sam it's not a penalty since it was a delayed penalty

Those two are awful. Joe loses his mind when he calls Rangers games. He is so much better doing the playoffs

The Nashville 1st goal Joe is going on and on about how Pionk stepped up and lost the puck and he will learn he is still young.. Pionk was the only one back!

Was it Staal or Smith on that one sequence that broke their stick and when they were trying to get back in position on D they fell over and were just laying stretched out on the ice? That was cracking me up

trading a 4th rounder for him was terrific because guaranteed they'll get a 2nd rounder for him at deadline
