No. Infact, during a commercial timeout JVR came out onto the ice to test things.

I don't think he will be out long, perhaps a week to 10 days.

1) Patrick played last season recovering from surgery. The last 20 games of the season he played at a 50 point season pace. He's played two games this year.

2)At the time of the draft, the two clear choices were Nico and Nolan. To take anyone else, would have been highly questionable, by almost everyone. It's not really fair to look back now and say that.
