Just AMac being AMac...a really bad, overpaid defensman. like last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, etc. No surprise there. But he’s great in the locker room...let’s keep him there. Folin is awful but that’s what we expected. Another non surprise. Special teams, again bad but no surprise. Our issues are not new, which is probably what’s most frustrating as we had time and money to address them but did nothing.

Elliot has played well, that is good to see. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

AHLTV is great, very interesting with all the good prospects we have. If you don’t have it consider checking it out during free period.

JVR signing is exactly what we need. Flyers got JVR because we needed a pure goal scorer on the 2nd line LW. Its been 2 games and some guys havent stated off great but they will get where we need them to be. JVR and Patrick will be 60 point guys.

That means statistically they will get a point in 75% of their games however as hockey fans we know it doesnt work that way. Points sometimes come in pairs or more which means that 75% ratio is lower and probably more so in the 50-60% range.

Give it time and these guys will light it up. They just need to gel with their linemates and build chemistry.

I liked the jvr signing. Wasn’t happy when they moved him before. It will pan out. I still remember him blasting by Chara to score in that brutal boston series. Kid has wheels.

You can get an HDMI and plug in your computer.

I have been watching it on my computer, it was free this weekend. I will probably subscribe to the phantoms games ($60). Watching 10-12 games, to me, will be worth it.
