Mentioning Mike Trout during an Eagles game is the new Cherry Hill's own Bobby Ryan.
- hereticpride

Showing him on TV is definitely a thing at Eagles home games. But Trout is in the area far more often when he doesn't have to be than Bobby Ryan.

I really don't think Bobby Ryan thinks of himself as being from Cherry Hill.

Although if Bobby does move back, first slice of pizza from King of Pizza is on me.

I didn't realize today was a holiday or something.

My commute was fairly easy today.

Flyers are not playing nearly as well as they're capable of in my opinion, yet they are 1-1 on the road. Biggest thing they need to do is get the defense pairings set and get the 2nd line playing better. I'm expecting big things from Nolan Patrick this season but he has had a disappointing start to the season. Non-factor in both games.

Anyone see the Blackhawks Maple Leafs game?

Brandon Manning scored a goal and also Cam Ward/Garrett Sparks refused to stop any pucks

Was a wild game. Also, Morgan Reilly's OT winner won my wife her first-ever fantasy hockey matchup.

This one just goes Monday-Sunday. We're pure savages.

Team Gritty (formerly Team Sweden) is 1-0, mostly due to Tavares.

Not sure how long Quick is out, but Kings are currently down to former top prospect turned reclamation project (turned awesome stream starter) Jack Campbell and a mostly useless Peter Budaj. GET IT DONE HEXY

The only goalie the Flyers have that is even reasonable to discuss in a potential trade is Elliott. I don't see Hextall doing that at this point in time.

why trade when you can pick up Steve Mason on the cheap?

He might retire. I would imagine that if Quick were out a long time and they wanted to sign him as a starter that he would sign. Any trade I think the Flyers would make would come pretty cheap I'd imagine, and likely have games played/wins contingency in it to minimize risk

If Quick is out long term, a games played contingency does not minimize the real risk if they don't get someone reliable.

I know Mason wanted the starter role, but you think he'd retire rather than be a back up? Interesting.
And sadly I don't think Hextall will trade Eliott, Pickard, or Hart. Which leaves you Neuvirth, Stolarz, and Lyon "the Hobbled Crew" I agree that we won't get much for them, although nothing is better than something... And that's assuming they come off their own IR quickly. I know he said something about Neuvirth being almost ready to go.
I just wouldn't bet on a trade - it's just too early.

Do you think the Kings would trade for Neuvirth with his injury history?
