Would it matter?

Not really, unless you (not you you, but the Royal you) think this team will turn the corner and compete for the playoffs as early as next season.

Were you thankful for your foot long , that's all that really matters.

Not really lol.

No family around for this weekend so the GF and myself are just gonna head out for Turkey dinner. There's a restaurant here in RD that has a couple award winning chefs and their 5 course Turkey dinners at thxgiving and XMAS are unreal good.

That would depend on how the development goes for players this season and with where Van ends up in the standings at the end of the season AND IF THEY CAN GET SOME (frank)EN DRAFT LOTTO LUCK!

If the return is good gotta do it. Regardless of how bad the D may be for awhile.

I agree, but don't think management has the stones for that, unless signing Karlsson next July is the plan.

Boeser had six less points in twenty less games, plus he scored nine more goals....(frank) Nylander!!
- LeftCoaster

Agree. Have Nylander but not at the expense of our young core.

Hard to say. If this team is in dire straights by TDL (which many here think) anything can happen.

Well it's year 4 of the rebuild this year, so in two more years Van will have their first ever cup.

Yeah, I guess. OJ and Hughes in doesn't seem like an upgrade to Tanev and Edler, at least not next season, in a few years hells ya. The other guys all seem like marginal NHL potential, time will tell.

There are some good free agents next year.

I think players will test free agency more and more because of the potential money.

It would be the tank to end all tanks:

Sutter, Tanev, Edler and Markstrom for picks and expiring over the hill UFA's (like Joker last year)

Lol. Nylander is not the droid we’re looking for.
There will be other Nylanders in future drafts. He’s not generational.

The difference is that Tanev and Edler are still performing at a high level whereas Hank was half the man he was at his peak.
